Park House Services operate a separate site for the production of soils and aggregates from waste.
Our site allows us to accept inert and organic wastes for processing to recover aggregates and produce soils and soil substitutes.
Manufactured topsoil can be produced through the mixing a balance of mineral and organic materials to create a rooting medium.
Blends can include materials such as natural topsoil, sand, overburden, subsoil, compost, and clean water sludges.
The standard rules permit SR2010 No 12 LB3106CM held by the site, lists the wastes suitable for inclusion in soil manufacture.
Up to 1000 tonnes of manufactured topsoil can be used to establish a vegetative layer up to 300mm deep for landscaping purposes under RPS 190.
These soils are manufactured from the following:
01 01 02 – chalk only (clean, naturally occurring stone materials);
01 04 08 – waste chalk other than those mentioned in 01 04 07 (clean, naturally occurring stone materials);
01 04 09 – waste sand and clays (clean, naturally occurring soil and mineral materials);
